Terms and Conditions of the Visma agreement at Thon Hotels.
Parties to the agreement
1.1
The agreement is entered into on behalf of Visma Innkjøpssamarbeid between Thon Hotels, hereinafter called the Supplier, and the Customer. Customer means the parent company and subsidiaries in which the parent company has a shareholding of more than 50%. Supplier means the participating hotels in the Thon Hotels Group at any given time.
1.2
The Customer shall use the Supplier as its preferred supplier of hotel services.
1.3
A summary of the benefits of the agreement and the obligations of the parties are described in this agreement.
Nature of the agreement
2.1
This agreement governs discounts on both hotel stays and conferences.
2.1.1
Accommodation: The agreement has a dynamic pricing structure, which means that the rate varies according to demand, the day of the week, and the time of booking. Under this agreement, the standard nightly rate at any given time will form the basis of the discounted contract rate. The rate is specified for one person per night in a standard room, including breakfast.
2.1.2
Conferences: The agreement has a dynamic pricing structure, which means that the rate varies according to demand, the day of the week, and the time of booking. Under this agreement, the standard rate for conference and other event packages at any given time will form the basis of the discounted package rate. The discounts apply to day packages and full-board packages at all hotels that offer this.
Rates and payment terms
3.1
Visma Innkjøpssamarbeid has negotiated competitive rates on the basis of an anticipated volume of up to 500 room nights per Customer at the Supplier’s hotels.
3.2
For hotel stays at the Supplier’s hotels in Norway, the contract rates apply for one person per room per night. The rate includes breakfast.
3.3
3.3.1
The contract rates for hotel stays apply to individual travellers. The Supplier uses dynamic pricing for its hotels. This is based on the market, demand, and the time of booking and can change from day to day. For Visma, the Supplier’s standard rates are discounted by 10 - 16 %.
The customer is free to book any price category that is available at any given time. Please note that special conditions may apply to bookings made for price categories other than the contract price.
3.3.2
Conferences – the contract prices for conferences and other events apply to all of the Supplier’s hotels that offer day packages and full-board packages. This discount is only given to groups of more than 10 people. For Visma customers, a discount of 10% will be applied to the Supplier’s standard price levels for day packages and full-board packages (“DP KK 1–9” and “HP KK 1–9”). The customer therefore receives a 10% discount on the day’s standard package rate.
3.4
To be eligible for discounts on stays under the Visma agreement, bookings must be made through Visma’s portal www.fordelbedrift.no or via thonhotels.no.

3.5
The Supplier accepts the most popular credit and debit cards. Payment for rooms must be made directly to the hotel and guests are personally responsible for their bill.
3.6
In the event of changes to government charges that are outside the control of the Supplier, the prices stated in this agreement shall be adjusted accordingly. The Supplier reserves the right to and will implement a price adjustment on 1 January each year.
3.7
All prices stated in this agreement are inclusive of value-added tax (VAT).
3.8
The prices of overnight stays or conferences and other events do not attract commission. The 10% discount shall not apply if a travel agent or PCO is involved in the conference enquiry.
Registration and booking
4.1
On registration as a Visma customer with Thon Hotels, you will receive a welcome letter containing details of how to book overnight stays and conferences.
Information
5.1
The Customer undertakes to provide information about the agreement internally within their company, including information about the terms and benefits of the agreement, and to refer to the agreement in the company’s travel policy. The customer code allocated must be used when booking hotel stays and conferences.
Bookings/cancellations and loyalty programme
6.1
Bookings and cancellations for hotel stays can be made through Visma’s portal www.fordelbedrift.no or at thonhotels.no. Bookings made through channels other than those indicated here will not provide the benefits available under the agreement. Bookings for conferences must be made through or .
6.2
The Supplier offers the Customer’s employees membership of the THON+ loyalty programme. More information about THON+.
6.3
Rooms cannot be guaranteed to be available from the Supplier before 15:00 on the arrival date. Unless arrival after 16:00 has been agreed and guaranteed in advance, the hotel is entitled to cancel the booking. Rooms can be cancelled up to 16:00 on the arrival date. The booker is financially responsible for unused guaranteed rooms (no-show). Check-out on the departure date is before 12:00 unless otherwise agreed. If the check-out time is not observed, the Customer may be charged for an additional night.
6.4
Different cancellation periods apply to conferences and these terms are stated in the individual conference contract entered into between the Supplier and the Customer.
Confidentiality
7.1
All information provided on behalf of Visma Innkjøpssamarbeid from the Supplier to the Customer under this agreement shall remain the property of the Supplier. Such information must not be disclosed by the Customer without the consent of the Supplier other than in fulfilment of the terms of the agreement.
Termination of the agreement
8.1
This agreement may be terminated with immediate effect by either party during the period of the agreement if:
- a party suspends its payments, initiates statutory negotiations with creditors, enters into liquidation or is declared bankrupt.
- a party has committed a material breach of the agreement.
8.2
The notice period for the agreement during the agreement period is three months from either side. Notice of termination of the agreement must be given in writing.
8.3
If the Customer terminates its membership of the Visma Purchasing Alliance, the Customer is obligated to inform the Supplier of this and the agreement shall cease to be valid.
8.4
Unforeseen circumstances (Force Majeure) outside the control of the Thon Hotels chain or the individual hotels (strike, lockout, fire, supply failures, etc.) shall entitle both parties to cancel the agreement without any obligation to pay compensation.
Duration of the agreement
9.1
This agreement shall come into force as soon as it has been entered into and shall remain in force for as long as you are a Customer under Visma Innkjøpssamarbeid.
The agreement comes into force once these terms have been accepted and from the time at which the Supplier has received such acceptance.
