If you love shopping, then Rotterdam is the perfect spot for your next city trip in the Netherlands. Rotterdam offers a large diversity of shops in walking distance at the Coolsingel and the ´Koopgoot´, two of the most popular streets in Rotterdam. If you do not mind to walk a bit further, then you should definitely visit the indoor shopping centre ‘Alexandrium’, which features 200 different shops and where you can enjoy shopping in case of a rainy day.

The ‘Witte de Withstraat’ is a popular street in Rotterdam and not far away from our hotel.  Enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of this street during the day or in the evening. In this urban street, you can find designer shops where you can score something special. The street also includes a lot of bars and restaurants where you can have a refreshing drink or a delicious meal.

Rotterdam has a big heart for art and therefore has many museums. Just around the corner of the hotel, you can find the ´Wereldmuseum´. This museum shows you 130 years of collections by and for the inhabitants of Rotterdam. “Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum” at the museum park and the Arthall Rotterdam are also highly recommended to visit.

The famous “Market Hall” is just 1.4 km away from the hotel. There you can find all different kinds of food from all over the world. The Market Hall is an icon of Rotterdam where good food and unique cultures are coming together under a spectacular arc.

Are you curious how Rotterdam looks from the top? Then you should visit the mighty Euromast, which is the highest tower in Rotterdam and in the Netherlands. Once you are up there, you have a magnificent view over the city of Rotterdam, the skyline and the port. With good weather, you can even see The Hague and the North Sea.
